NEW UKAS LOGOS

UKAS has recently updated their Accreditation logos. No longer are there individual management system logos such as Quality Management, Environmental Management, Food Safety Management etc. All management system logos will now be covered under a single a UKAS logo. Internal Quality Auditing Course

WCS is able to provide a one-day ISO9001:2008 internal quality audit training course for clients and prospective clients. The course is run by recognised IRCA Lead Auditors and successful completion of the course results in an Internal Auditor Certificate being issued to the student/attendee.

The course explains
· The purpose of an Internal Quality Audit programme
· Auditing requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard
· How to prepare audit plans for your
· How to carry out effective audits
· How to construct a written report and communicate findings

The Course includes
· Introduction to auditing
· Quality systems to ISO 9001:2008
· Performance of the audit
· Audit preparations
· Audit documentation

The course is based on fictitious company includes case studies and process-based assessments.

Who would benefit from attending?
· Managers and staff who are to become internal quality auditors
· Existing auditors who wish to refresh their skills or improve their knowledge of ISO9001:2008
· Personnel responsible for implementing the quality system or preparing for assessment

The Cost
The one-day course will cost a maximum of £200 plus VAT depending on the numbers attending. The fee may be reduced if the training is delivered in-house to two or more trainees, or if course numbers make it financially viable.

Submission of Corrective Action Plans

Clients are reminded that non-conformances raised during initial assessments, re-assessments and routine surveillance visits need the submission of a corrective plan within the timescales agreed with the auditor.

Following this, evidence of satisfactory corrective action has to be provided. Failure to comply with this requirement can lead to delays in certification or, in the case of existing customers, suspension of registration.

Successful Accreditation Body Assessments

World Certification Services is required to undergo annual headquarters assessments and also witnessed assessments of its auditors to ensure that it continues to meet ISO17021 and UKAS/ANAB accreditation requirements.

As would be expected, standards are required to be high. WCS minimises the likelihood of problems occurring by imposing strict headquarters controls, by continuous monitoring of auditors, and by the provision of feedback and training if problems do occur.

Development of the skills and competencies of all employees is considered highly important to the success of the company.
